Happily Married

Almost two weeks have passed since Tim and I got married on Saturday December 17th. The wedding day was so great. It was lovely having all our family and friends there to celebrate with us. Thank you to all those people who helped make it such a special day for us. As with anything in life you can't expect everything to perfect. The weather wasn't the best and Tim ended up getting sick. But isn't it great how you can turn seemingly negative things into positives. Because the weather wasn't so great we had our photos at Nathan Homestead which ended up being way better than the Botanical Gardens and our photos are really great. And because Tim was sick we ended up doing nothing much at all for half of our time away at Pauanui. This was good because it meant we had a really good rest which both of us really needed.

I am truly fortunate to have such a kind, caring and loving man for a husband and I can foresee that the years ahead are going to be good ones for Mr and Mrs Tim and Christy Dallimore, whatever the future may bring.

One More Day

Just one more day and I'll be married. That's a strange concept really. One day you're single and the next day you're married. Well, I'm glad that day has nearly arrived. Everything is nearly organised and things seem to be running smoothly at the moment. The next time I blog I will be a happily married woman. See you at the wedding!

It's Getting Closer

The day of my wedding (or should I say 'our' wedding) is getting closer and closer. I am really looking forward to all the preparations being over and enjoying the wedding day. I am so over shopping, planning, organising, choosing, deciding, contemplating, analysing, theorising, hypothesising........and on the list goes. That's enough to make anyone tired!!

11 days to go and my single life is over. A new chapter begins. One with lots of unknowns and plenty of fun times. I am eagerly anticipating it.
